About the Role: As the Financial Benefits Analyst, you will contribute to several different workflows. You will report directly to the Financial Benefits Manager. Your primary areas of focus will be to conduct the day-to-day administration of the company’s retirement programs and completion of wage analysis for job positions and for bids. You will also assist in the administration of the company’s annual survey, engagement programs, and annual social reporting process.

Annual Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000

Benefits include:
Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct the day-to-day operations of the Retirement function ensuring that processes are documented, up-to-date, and efficient.
  • Research and respond to questions from payroll, locations, and vendors.
  • Draft wage analyses for position postings and bids.
  • Submit funding for weekly 401(k) contributions.
  • Calculate union pension contributions.
  • Ensure all required notices and materials are distributed to locations or employees in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on legislation impacting retirement plans and employee compensation.
  • Complete ad hoc analysis and tasks for retirement, compensation, employee engagement surveys, employee data validations, and annual social reporting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • A collaborator with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion and judgement.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Employee benefits, Payroll, Compensation, and Retirement Benefits experience is a plus.
  • Travel requirement outside of immediate area (as a percent) <10%.

  • 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
