Nutanix (NTNX) is seeking a motivated Associate Systems Engineer Intern for a transformative experience in Enterprise Cloud Technology. This internship is designed for juniors and seniors eager to develop their technical and sales skills while contributing to real-world projects.
About the Team
Systems Engineering at Nutanix
Our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization comprises over 800 customer-focused technical sales professionals. They are responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with customers' business issues and objectives, as well as providing channel partner training and enablement. This team also acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in their field by the Nutanix sales, customer success, business partners, and customers.

Your Role
- Complete the NCA certification exam
- Participate in customer sales engagements
- Contribute to technical documentation and competitive analysis
- Develop practical exposure to Nutanix solutions
- Engage with the pre-sales organization
- Create and deliver a capstone project
- Submit project to Nutanix knowledge base
- Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies

- Interview with the hiring manager and the systems engineering director to showcase your skills
- Students who advance to this round will receive preparation prior to the interviews.
- Expect to participate in an initial one-on-one interview. If successful, a second interview will be scheduled. These assessments are designed to evaluate your technical skills, role readiness, and motivation for the opportunity at Nutanix. Each meeting will provide you with an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the team you may work with.
- Final Decision: Offers extended to finalists within 2 weeks of the interviews.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, this will mean coming into the office a minimum of 3 days per week; however, certain roles and/or teams may require a more frequent in-office presence. Your manager will provide additional team-specific guidance and norms.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 26 and USD $ 36 per hour.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
