The Opportunity

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Nutanix, your role would involve utilizing your strong knowledge on Data Insights/Analytics to support the business in meeting their common goals. You would be responsible for identifying opportunities to increase productivity and improve operational efficiency across various teams within the organization. The Data Analytics & Reporting team at Nutanix is a highly impactful team spread across Mexico, Belgrade, and India. Despite their size, they have achieved remarkable successes. Team: We’re looking for an individual to take ownership of our data analytics' completeness, effectiveness and impact and provide insights to RevOps leaders. You will collaborate with many internal teams, such as Product Managers, Deal Desk, Order Management, Sales Comp, Data Platform, and Sales BI, to gather KPIs and provide analytical solutions.

Your Role

  • Database Management: Expert-level proficiency in SQL as its vital for querying, cleaning, and manipulating data directly from databases.
  • BI & Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience with platforms like Tableau (must have), Microsoft Power BI (optional) to create interactive dashboards and executive scorecards.
  • Data Modeling & Architecture: Understanding of data warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python or R for advanced statistical analysis and data mining through API (Not mandatory but good to have hands on for future analytical programs/projects)
  • Advanced Excel: Mastery of advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling for quick local data exploration and support underling teams within RevOps.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related  field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: A "curious/go-getter mindset" to identify operational gaps and recommend improvements based on data trends.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate complex technical data into actionable insights that align with RevOps/Sales Ops KPIs and strategic goals. Good have prior E2E Sales/Revenue Operations team support (teams like Order Management, Deal Desk, Sales Comp etc.) experience.
  • Communication & Storytelling: Strong verbal and written skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership members.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, often within an agile framework.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
