Our sustainability team at Logitech is growing. We are currently looking for a Life Cycle Assessment Expert to support & inform strategic direction. The ideal candidate has a passion for synthesizing complex data, using LCA and other sources to form compelling stories. Helping us to rethink how we can reduce the impact Consumer Electronics has on the environment. 

In this role you will support our world class engineering, design and marketing teams by bringing clarity to questions around the real environmental impact of our decisions.   • Support the company to gain a better understanding of real world impacts from various data sources

  • Visualise and communicate complex information effectively

  • Take part in technical cross industry projects to build know how on sustainable design software and analysis tools

  • Grow our in-house LCA capabilities and enhance its effectiveness 

  • Support strategy decisions by calculating the impact of a full product roadmaps with LCA

  • Support process improvement activities, bring clarity to the benefit of alternative “go to market” and end of life management approaches

  • Develop tools that will allow our product development team to quickly analyse their design early

Your Skills: For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviours to our team:

Technical Competence: 

  • Extensive experience working with LCA software such as Simapro, Umberto, GaBi etc 

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in visually presenting complex data

  • Deep understanding of sustainability and lifecycle thinking 

  • Broad understanding of materials, processes associated with consumer electronics an advantage 

  • Ideally, knowledge of product development, preferably of consumer electronics 

Personal Competence 

  • Passionate about sustainability and the role of design in society

  • Excellent communication skills

Education

  • Preferred degree in Earth Science, Sustainability, Computer Science or other equivalent. 

  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years relevant industry or academic LCA experience
