Sr. Logistics Specialist Latin America

The Role:

This role will be tasked with overseeing operational performance, cost and processes for our warehouses and outbound in Latin America. In this role it is expected to work closely with our 3PL partners and internal partners in ensuring our goods are processed and shipped to our customer’s needs. In addition, this role entails working on projects to improve and add to our current capabilities as well as coordinate the budget associated with these warehouses and outbound processes.

Contribution:

  • Coordinate the warehouse and outbound shipping functions for LATAM
  • Maintain & improve visible metrics and scorecards related to warehouse and outbound performance
  • Coordinate continuous improvement projects related to cost, service level and sustainability
  • Govern actions with suppliers related to performance improvements, compliance reduction, claims reduction and processes
  • Ensure customer needs are being met through warehouse and outbound processes for LATAM
  • Prepare reports, data analysis and presentations to provide insights to support logistics improvements and communicate with management
  • Participate in complex projects related to logistics processes and support broader supply chain initiatives
  • SOP documentation for warehouse and outbound processes

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant supply chain warehousing and outbound experiences in a multinational company
  • Ability to travel to warehouse locations as needed
  • Experience managing costs & metrics within a supply chain
  • Must be a team player that is motivated by elevating fellow employees
  • Experience with warehouse and transport management systems

Education and skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management or related field is preferred
  • Fluent Portuguese and English, verbal and in writing. Spanish verbal and in writing are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a capacity to develop solutions to complex problems
  • Problem solver, customer oriented and results driven
  • Strong troubleshooting techniques, analyze and determine root causes
  • Ability to develop effective and productive working relationships with business partners
  • Ability to communicate recommendations and business needs through presentations
