The Team and Role:

The Global eCommerce Business Engagement Lead will work as part of the IT Business Engagement team  to serve as a strategic partner for our Global Direct Ecommerce business. 

This role will be crucial in enabling the growth and success of our direct online sales channels by managing the technology roadmap that supports ecommerce operations and collaborating closely with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional communication and project management skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the ecommerce space.

This is a remote work-from-home position within the United States.

  • Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate with Ecommerce leadership and technical team to develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Vendor & Solution Management: In conjunction with the solution delivery team, evaluate technology vendors and solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of the Ecommerce business, compliant with IT standards and are cost-effective.

  • E-Commerce Relationship Management

  • Cross-Functional Business Operations & IT Stakeholder Partnerships and Program  Execution. Ability to bring other key operational functions into the Scoping and Solutioning of new capabilities to support the E-Commerce business model and build end to end solution capabilities across the full operational ecosystem. Examples include:

    • Understanding and liaising with Finance functions to consider the solution components for Tax Registration, Sales Tax Collection and Reporting, MOR compliance, Invoice Billing, Discounting, Finance Reconciliation Process with our ERP systems, dynamic pricing.

    • Understanding and liaising with Global Operations and Supply Chain to support Master data synchronization—products, customers, pricing, currency; Inventory decrements and order fulfillment via Logitech or 3rd party.

    • Understand the other IT verticals with the wider IT Organization, their core competencies and how they can be brought into the discussions to drive and enable business opportunities.

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Ecommerce technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet 

  • quality standards.

  • Innovation & Optimization: Continuously explore new technologies and solutions to enhance the Ecommerce experience and improve business operational efficiency.

  • System Integration: Work with the Enterprise Applications IT team to ensure seamless integration of Ecommerce systems with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and OMS.

  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Work with the Data & Insights IT team to generate insights and reports on Ecommerce performance, informing decision-making and driving continuous improvement.

  • Technology Support: Act as the escalation point for any production issues. Work with the various technical teams in IT to ensure smooth operations of DTX systems.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • Senior level experience in an IT role supporting Ecommerce operations.

  • Deep understanding of Ecommerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and their integration capabilities

  • Deep understanding of supporting technologies such as PIM, DAM.CDP

  • Experience with payment gateways, fraud prevention tools, and order management systems (OMS)

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

  • Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and content management systems (CMS)

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).

  • Proven ability to manage complex technology projects, utilizing project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and best practices

  • Understanding of Ecommerce business models, KPIs, and challenges

  • Experience working in a global, multi-currency, multi-country, multi-language environment 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Excellent verbal, active listening and written communications skills that should be equally effective with IT, marketing, and sales

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making

  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize among competing tasks and assignments

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with a diversely distributed global IT and business team members

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 99,400 - $ 221,900, depending on location and experience.

In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
