Global Supply Chain Analyst
Description
Supply planning function is responsible for managing the supply-demand balance at an optimal cost, meeting customer service level goals, minimizing inventory, prioritizing shipping and mitigating shortages.
This role will work closely with commercial teams, business groups and the rest of the supply chain/factory teams to deliver on business and financial goals.
To be successful in this role, you need to be analytical, nimble and action oriented. You are entrepreneurial and demonstrate creative problem-solving and data analysis skills and an excellent ability to strategize, execute, and lead. You work cross-functionally to support our business goals and mission and are amazing at working with external stakeholders.
Scope of activities for this role include but are not limited to supply-demand balancing, development of FG & component safety stock strategies, planning and executing product phase in & phase out strategies, exception management
In this role you will:
Create and maintain production schedules using capacity plan, material constraints and demand as inputs.
Own the World Wide Capacity Review process with JDM/ODM partners.
Build statistical models to project safety stock requirements, capacity needs and other parameters.
Analyze change factors such as seasonality, upcoming promotions and build robust inventory models to respond to these changes
Apply advanced analytics to create inventory planning parameters and policies.
Analyze trade-offs between inventory, air freight, capacity, etc. and make informed decisions/ recommendations.
Monitor inventory to meet demand without overstocking.
Analyze and propose changes to supply chain master data and the elements impacting supply plan, such as safety stock settings, lead times, sourcing, etc.
Develop allocation plans to optimize constrained availability against prioritized demands.
Develop and refine tools for ongoing support of business.
Demonstrate decision making ability at times of uncertain or incomplete information.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you shall bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related subject area with 4-6 years of work experience
Experience participating in the S&OP processes.
Experience in end to end supply chain planning.
Working knowledge of planning tools and material planning processes [MRP, Simulation, Product BOMs, Safety stock theory, inventory management], ERP experience [Oracle or SAP]
Working knowledge of SQL/Python and BI reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI / Looker
Excellent communication and presentation skills
