The role:
The B2B Assistant Channel Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and managing B2B channels, including corporate partners, VARs, and system integrators. This position requires close collaboration with various internal teams, including the Category Marketing Manager and supporting departments, to drive channel business growth and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong ownership, self-motivation, and a strategic mindset, with a focus on long-term relationship building.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan tailored to B2B channels, applying strategic selling skills to consistently meet or exceed quotas.

  • Identify, cultivate, and develop new channels to support both video collaboration and personal workspace solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives.

  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and training to partners, helping them to foster stronger mindshare and drive sales effectiveness.

  • Execute promotional strategies that support revenue growth and partner success.

  • Gather and relay market intelligence and competitor information to inform strategic decisions.

  • Represent the company with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Key Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must bring the following skills and attributes:

  • A university degree is preferred, but relevant experience in lieu of a degree can be considered.

  • Above 3 years of experience in B2B sales or channel management, with exposure to managing partnerships with corporate partners, VARs, or system integrators.

  • Experience in new channel development, particularly in video collaboration and personal workspace solutions, is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, with a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to support deal negotiations and help achieve company targets, with guidance from senior managers.

  • Understanding of customer needs and goals, with a willingness to align business solutions accordingly.

  • Familiarity with sales management, marketing, strategic planning, and business development concepts.

  • Experience in negotiations at a senior level, with the potential to develop stronger skills in relationship management.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to support senior team members.

  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, with a desire to adopt a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other pipeline management systems is a plus, with training provided if needed.
