POSITION: Human Resources Coordinator/Payroll Specialist 
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources 
LOCATION: Beardstown 
SALARY CLASS: Non- Exempt
HOURS: Flexible: Monday-Saturday
 
The Human Resource department is looking for a dependable, focused, and results-oriented individual that is seeking to advance his/her career with our company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Track and coordinate compliance to Absentee Control Policy
  • Handle confidential Human Resources information.
  • Maintain adequate records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. 
  • Enter and maintain employee records information into HRIS
  • Employee Relations
  • Assist HR staff with various clerical/administrative duties as needed 
  • Running daily payroll reports
  • Editing payroll records per supervisors' request
  • Filing payroll records.
  • Handling all payroll issues concerning clock times.
  • Working on temporary labor hours and other data.
  • Performing accounting duties as assigned.
  • Miscellaneous accounting projects for HR Manager and HR Director.
 
BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous timekeeping / payroll experience required
  • Ability to work on a proactive basis in a high paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • SAP and Kronos experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel experience and proficiency in all other Microsoft Office software
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and work closely with Accounting Manager to relate critical/urgent issues
  • Must be able to set goals and meet deadlines
  • Professional phone skills
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to calmly and effectively handle stressful situations.
  • Results oriented. Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Computer knowledge required (prefer experience with PeopleSoft/SAP and proficiency in MS Office)
  • Bilingual skills preferred 
  • Good attendance record (Less than 2.0 points, for internal candidates)
  • High School degree required, some college preferred
  • 2 years’ human resource experience preferred
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.

The Applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: 
  • Base Salary: $21.96 MIN-$24.50MID
  • Health, Dental, Vision coverage begins after 60 days of employment
