IT Project Manager

 

We are seeking a temporary IT Project Manager to join JBS for a 3-month assignment, working 20-25 hours per week. This position is based onsite at the Corporate Office in Greeley, Colorado, and will report directly to company leadership.

 

The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading technology projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery aligns with business goals, timelines, and company standards. This role requires strong clientfacing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage crossfunctional teams while maintaining thorough project documentation in accordance with company policies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and strong relationship building.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and all required documentation per company standards.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment and timely progress.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, and post implementation reviews.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with internal processes and policies.
  • Drive projects to successful completion, ensuring on time, on budget, and in scope delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to process enhancements and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of experience managing IT projects in a professional environment.
  • Proven success in a client-facing role with strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

 

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Base hourly range of $40,00-$50.00/hour.
