Strategic Alliance Director

Looking for a suitable candidate to join our sales team to accelerate Capgemini Japan’s alliance strategy, based out of Japan, and reporting into the Managing Director of Capgemini Japan.

 and Accountabilities:

  • Position Capgemini as the SI partner of choice with strategic partners. Accountable for driving partner influenced bookings growth for Capgemini and partners and increasing market share through large deal management and driving outcomes in agreed strategic areas (business plan)
  • Owns the joint business plans with the partner for Cloud (AWS/Azure), Applications (SAP, MS App suite, Salesforce/ Mulesoft, ServiceNow) in the Japan market, ensuring that they remain up to date and relevant to current situation. Collaborates with partner-focused point of contact (PoC) within each practice team to identify and drive key actions, ensuring that PoCs provide timely action.
  • Also responsible for business plans with other key ‘secondary’ partners for Capgemini Japan including Guidewire, Temenos and UI Path.
  • Supports with collecting local inputs for Insights & Data (I&D) partners (i.e. Informatica, Databricks) to support APAC I&D alliance partner manager.
  • Supports with collecting local inputs for Engineering (ERD) partners (i.e. Dassault) to support APAC ERD alliance partner manager.
  • Responsible for KPI’s and targets in the business plans of partner bookings and driving pipeline growth and keeping the pipeline healthy. Track and report partner bookings’ progress by tracking THOR ( system) booking reports and liaising with respective Account executives.  KPI’s mainly center around partner management, including governance (MBR with APAC Alliance leads of Capgemini and partner, QBR with executive sponsors of Capgemini and partner, ensuring the intimacy map is kept current, setting up cadences between AE’s and the partner AE’s and monitoring if the business plan on track). 
  • Responsible for coordinating enablement across sales, presales and delivery.
  • Responsible for work with partner marketing which include events, joint marketing activities and collaboration on key joint pursuits. Also responsible for award submission, coordinating with the APAC marketing team.
  • Work with internal Group alliances team and Centers of Excellence teams to bring the best practices, engagements and collaboration experiences and seek escalation support in case of local connect challenges.
  • Responsible for keeping track of wins/go-lives of partner-related deals/projects respectively.

Required Experience:

  • 5-8 years’ of experience with a product vendor or consulting firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Technology-savvy, with keen interest in emerging technologies and ‘all things digital’.
  • Experience in partner management and driving sales motions with partners
  • Experience in liaising with marketing for creation of content and communication strategy
  • Energetic, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable engaging at CXO levels
  • Understanding of enterprise tech platforms and its business functions is a plus.
  • Strong persistence at closing actions and resolving challenges to move forward
  • Specific solution understanding with one or more of our strategic partners (AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP, Service Now) is preferable
