Location 

Tochigi, Nasu (1st preference relocation; 2nd preference 2-3 days work from Nasu) 

 

The role 

Our client is an innovative technology firm where they focus on a variety of cutting-edge technologies. Various revolutionary technology projects help to build a safer, happier and more sustainable world. We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to be part of our client’s journey.   

 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with customer team and prepare Hardware Electrical Requirement 
     
  • To create overview and Detailed Design. Reviewing Design created by other teams. 
     
  • Ownership of all aspects of the design verification of the Hardware/ Processor/ FPGA and/or its functional blocks 
     
  • To review Electrical Design from point of view of efficiency, optimization. Should be able to explain Design to other Senior leads in CMSC. 
     
  • Well versed and hands-on experience with Tools and equipment for Hardware Design and Hardware development/ Testing. 
     
  • Should grasp upon by self on other Electrical Hardware/ Domain related points 
     
  • Supports the design, development and testing, including upgrades, replacements, parts reliability requirements, performance evaluations, 
     
  • No specific age limit/ Nationality consideration 
     
  • Should be able to communicate (spoken/ Written) in Japanese (Business level or up) and English (Business level or up) 

Profile 

Mandatory  

  • 5+ years of working experience in Hardware Design Engineering, FPGA/ ASIC/ SOC  

  • Experience with Xilinx FPGAs, Hardware  

  • Well versed and hands-on experience with Tools and equipment for Hardware Design and Hardware development/ Testing  

  • Experience of developing circuit, component, subsystem, and equipment interfaces and procurement specifications  

  • Experience of supporting the design, development and testing, including upgrades, replacements, parts reliability requirements, performance evaluations 

  • Experience of creating Design, Supports design reviews and technical meetings  

  • Japanese (Native level), English (Conversational level – equivalent to TOEIC 650-700, English email writing) 

 

Preferred 

  • Experience with Medical product Hardware development
