The role 

Our client is an innovative technology firm where they focus on a variety of cutting-edge technologies. Various revolutionary technology projects help to build a safer, happier and more sustainable world. We are looking for a MES Software Testing Consultant to be part of our client’s journey.      

Responsibilities 

• Work effectively at different levels to define business needs  

• Testing MES Software 

• Implementation of MES implementation for the Japanese Manufacturing client 

• Develop detailed designs, implement and test complex solutions using both custom developed software applications and configured products that meet client requirement and create technical documentation  

• Working with customers on system troubleshooting to fix errors, adapt it to customer requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces 

Profile 

Mandatory 

• Candidate should have strong Software Testing background  

• Engineering IT implementation experience or software testing (Preferrable)  

• Engineering IT implementation (At least 2 years)  

• Fluent Japanese& Business level English is a must 

• Strong knowledge on shopfloor device integration with MES/SCADA using OPC  

• Good understanding of SQL and experience in writing procedures  

• Experience in coordinating project activities with project team and customer.  

• Business level English and intermediate/ Conversational Japanese skills  

Preferred 

• Good to have functional knowledge of MES  

• End to end MES implementation project experience is preferred 

• Project management (PMP is better)  

• Software development process experience  

• Agile project experience
