Tokyo (Toranomon) base. Business trip to clients’ sites are required (Osaka/Utsunomiya)

The role 

The candidate will be assigned as a Business Development Manager role, focusing on opening new client account in Automotive domain. Coping with our Vice President and global team members, the candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, coming up with new proposals with our consulting service, tagging with our consultants and global team members while closing deals, and managing contracts. 



  • Coping with our Vice President and global team members 

  • Identifying marketing opportunities and developing sales leads 

  • Assessing potential clients' needs and recommending engineering services 

  • Preparing and delivering sales pitches and product demonstrations 



  • At least 10 years of Business Development experience in Automotive domain 

  • Business and IT consultant experience in Consulting firm is required 

  • Having a business relationship with CxO level for proposing strategic planning/business consulting service and being presentable to senior stakeholders 

  • Generating new consulting opportunities, creating proposals and closing deals 

  • Deep understanding in Consulting service proposed to any manufacturing client 

  • Strong client management and communication/negotiation skills 

  • Proven documentation skill. Being able to translate abstract concepts into convincing and actionable story line 

  • Being able to learn and adopt in the rapidly-changing environment 

  • Proven experience in working as a team and being able to work collaborate well with other functions and other regions  

  • Able to work in the multicultural work environment and interact with overseas colleagues and cooperate with them to win the global project 

  • Having any experience in selling a large-scaled consulting projects 

  • Native level Japanese with Business English conversation skill
