  • Responsibilities
  • Attend and represent App Manager in incident management
  • Firsthand Incident Acceptance from Helpdesk and Monitoring Teams
  • Classify the Incident, Identify the Impacted Component, Troubleshoot
  • Coordinate and Notify Relevant Business Departments
  • Prepare Problem Reports, RCA, Prevention Plan & Present in Incident Management Meeting
  • Coordinate closely with Application Management support team (L1 teams) and understand the issues reported in production and explain the same to developer and drive towards fixing the issue
  • Investigate issues raised by clients on production environment.
  • Handle urgent troubleshooting on production environment.
  • Adopt automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines

  •  Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Have 8+ years’ experience software engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in production systems for major insurance carrier/financial institution
  • Knowledge on change/Incident management process and tools
  • Working experience with geographically distributed teams
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt and understand the architecture, system flow & interdependency.
  • Business Level Verbal and Written Communication Skill Set in Japanese and English
  • Good Knowledge on Life Insurance Types, Concepts and Products
