I.  Purpose of the Position 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager to lead all accounting activities within our organization, excluding credit. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and the implementation of effective accounting policies. The successful candidate will manage the Accounting Department and provide essential financial consultation to support our company’s objectives.

II.  General Functions/Specific Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Accounting Department and its team.
• Coordinate and administer external financial audits.
•  Lead the monthly financial closing process and reporting to the parent company
• Supervise inventory costing and accounts payable operations.
• Manage federal/state income tax, sales/use tax, and fixed asset/property tax matters.
• Oversee the development, updating, and approval of accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage insurance-related matters and compliance
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve the company’s financial strength and address potential financial issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

III.  Requirements for Position

          Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA/CPA preferred).

         10-15 years of relevant experience with a broad knowledge of accounting, including cost                                                                       

             accounting, finance, and tax.

         Proven supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage team resources.                                     

         Strong oral and written communication skills.

         Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
