SEWS—El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside)
Job Title Quality Engineer I
Support for QA wire harness department with STL. Rivian and MFD program activities at ECSC with containments and reworks.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and confirm customer audits and coordinate APQP preparation
- Conduct procedure audits, conduct process and quality system audits
- Coordinate and support QMS audit
- Coordinate sorting/reworks of finished goods at ECSC warehouse
- Assure critical points quality, quality control system, and inspection standard when checking PFMEA and Control Plans from manufacturing plants and ECSC rework process
- Acknowledgment of AIAG requirements for PPAP’s process
- Flexibility to travel to Mexico and US
- Any other additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or Industrial Technology
- 1 – 3 years of progressive engineering experience in the Quality area
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficient use of desktop computer software
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies
- Knowledge in APQP
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
