Training Facility Utilization Strategy/Promotion Intern in Osaka, Japan
Description
We are seeking an intern in our Human Resources Development Group in the Human Resources Development Department in Osaka, Japan. This internship will start from May 25, 2026, to July 31, 2026 (10 weeks). The intern will work on creating a strategy to increase the utilization of our training facilities in Japan.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To create a strategy to promote the two training facilities in Japan. This may include creating and testing hypotheses.
- To create a proposal and implementation plan to promote the utilization.
- To research best practices on promoting training facilities.
- To understand our training system and structure.
- To create procedure manuals on how to promote the utilization of the training facilities.
- May be asked to revise contents and manuals based on feedback received.
- May be asked to support any other project as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university seeking a BS/BA degree in related fields.
- Good knowledge of marketing and public relations.
- Good knowledge of how to create promotional materials and content.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) at an intermediate level is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including cross-cultural communication.
- Knowledge and experience working in the tourism industry are a plus.
- Ability to communicate in more than two or three languages (including Japanese) is a big plus.
- Ability to be creative and utilize critical thinking.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of human resources, human resources development, and public relations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
