POSITION TITLE: Manufacturing Coordinator- Metal Stamping
SHIFT: 2nd shift (3:00P –11:30P)
SECTION OR DEPARTMENT: SEWS Terminal Group
REPORTS TO: Robby Minix
LOCATION: Scottsville, KY
BASIC POSITION DUTIES: Provide daily supervision of 2nd shift manufacturing associates and support production as needed. Oversees all daily activities and reporting. Responds to safety, quality and productivity issues and any abnormal situations. Works with all departments as needed such as QA, production control, maintenance, engineering, etc.
- Identify, report and/or correct Safety/Quality related issues. Ensure safe work environment.
- Supervision for 2nd shift TMG associates.
- Update/Maintain/Communicate production schedule. Assist manufacturing as needed.
- Participate in quality related issues, such as daily audits, backtracking, claims, work compliance, etc.
- Thorough and accurate daily review / confirmation of all 2nd shift paperwork (No blanks, all data in spec, etc.)
- Conduct daily / weekly / monthly coordinator audits required by supervisor.
- Assist with material handling.
- Daily monitor/promote 3S/3D.
- Participate/lead Kaizen team.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma, GED or Technical Certificate with 1-3 years experience working in metal stamping preferred.
- Candidate must have intermediate to advanced skills on Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint,)
- Candidate must possess satisfactory verbal and written communication skills using correct grammar.
- Candidate must be able to multitask and adapt to daily changes in the production environment.
- Tow Motor license is required.
