Global Account Manager
Description
II. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Leadership:
- Serve as the global point of contact for the hyperscale client, developing long-term partnership strategies aligned with customer and company objectives.
- Revenue Growth & Forecasting:
- Drive global sales planning, revenue forecasting, and margin management across product lines including optical cable, assemblies, connectivity hardware, and test solutions.
- Program Management:
- Coordinate cross-functional support—engineering, supply chain, operations, and regional sales—to deliver consistent service levels and on-time execution for high-volume, multi-region deployments.
- Business Development:
- Identify new opportunities in next-generation network architectures, such as multi-core fiber, high-density connectivity, and emerging hyperscale construction projects.
- Customer Advocacy:
- Champion the customer’s technical and commercial needs internally, ensuring product roadmaps, quality, and delivery performance align with expectations.
- Contract & Pricing Management:
- Negotiate master agreements, pricing structures, and project terms with procurement and engineering stakeholders.
- Market Insight & Reporting:
- Provide market intelligence on hyperscale data center trends, regional build-out plans, and competitive activity to influence company strategy.
• Strong understanding of fiber cable design, connectorization, testing, and installation processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a global matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~25–40%).
• 8+ years of account management or business development experience within fiber optic, cabling, or data center infrastructure industries.

VII. Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the physical and motor skills typical of an office environment, including, but not limited to: prolonged sitting, working on a computer, using telephones, handheld technology and other office equipment, standing, walking and stooping.
- May be occasionally required to lift objects such as files, boxes of paper, office supplies, and computer / office equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to routinely concentrate, focus and read for general understanding and analytical purposes and ability to communicate effectively.
