SRCTec currently seeks a temporary material handling associate. The selected applicant will accurately and efficiently receive, count, stock and pull parts orders.

Responsibilities

• Utilize material handling equipment, including but not limited to a fork truck, lift truck, pallet jack, baler and shrink wrap machine
• Must communicate well with internal and external customers
• Unloading and loading product from vehicles and checking for accuracy in accordance with agreed processes and procedure
• Carry out all tasks in a safe way adhering to Health and Safety procedures
• Carry out any other duties within the warehouse as required
• Ensuring stock is handled and looked after correctly to a good standard of housekeeping
• Cleaning of common areas
• Stacking of products in warehouse/stockroom
• Performing cycle counts
• Maintain inventory accuracy at a consistent level Achieve daily targets and weekly deadlines under supervision 
• Use your initiative and to seek continuous improvement  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience OR training from a technical trade school or military trade school with 0+ years related experience. 
• Experience in a stockroom or production environment
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must have a clean New York State Driver’s License
• Available for overtime when required
• Friendly, flexible and positive attitude are essential in this position
• The ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, steeping, reaching or lifting in line with Health and Safety regulations
• The ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• The ability to count accurately and perform simple Math calculations
• Ability to work both as an individual and as part of a team
