Manufacturing Engineer


As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer at SRCTec LLC, you will play an integral role in the development, implementation, and sustainment of production capabilities for radar, CUAS, and electronic warfare systems. You will join forces with experienced engineers as well as guide junior engineers to provide leadership and support to assigned areas within the factory. You will establish and maintain manufacturing configurations, support transition from development to full-rate production, and troubleshoot problems that are encountered during production. You will collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams of hardware, software, and manufacturing engineers and stay at the cutting-edge of electronics manufacturing.    
    
What You’ll Do     
  • Provide complete manufacturing lifecycle support (transition to sustaining) to assigned production line(s)
  • Design, develop, and/or procure the necessary tools, fixtures, and equipment as required that satisfy the throughput, yield, and product specifications as prescribed
  • Represent Manufacturing Engineering on teams directed at identifying and executing continuous improvement opportunities
  • Provide manufacturing estimates for new production development and deployment efforts
  • Identify and implement best operational methodologies and standard work that can be applied to all production areas
  • Execute Designs of Experiments (DOE) as required to identify optimized manufacturing process solutions
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and repair of equipment following manufacturer’s instructions and established requirements
    
What You’ll Bring    
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
  • 6+ Years of related manufacturing and production process experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the assembly and test of complex, RF-based military products
  • Working knowledge of CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Experience with structured problem solving, control charts, and variance analysis
  • Exposure to MRP software tools and configuration management
  • Must be a US citizen

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $97,000 to $113,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
