Aircraft Sustainment Manager



SRC, Inc. is in search of an Aircraft Sustainment Manager for the COMPASS CALL Program, supporting both the EC-130H and EA-37B aircraft. This role involves navigating the challenges of fielding the EA-37B while strategizing for the eventual retirement of the EC-130H. 
   
What You'll Do   
  • Interface with HQ Air Combat Command on weapon system requirements for aircraft availability and weapon system sustainment, to include support equipment, training, and technical data.
  • Coordinate and advise the COMPASS CALL program leadership on all matters related to logistics and sustainment of the EC-130H and EA-37B aircraft.
  • Chair COMPASS CALL Logistics Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT)
  • Assist with management of the EC-130H Programmed Depot Maintenance and Modification flow.
  • Help with management of production and sustainment contracts with Compass Call prime contractors.
  • Manage and update the Life Cycle Management Plan (LCMP), the Aircraft Availability Improvement Program (AAIP) plan, and the Weapon System Enterprise Review (WSER) briefing.
  • Manage the unit compliance inspection logistics checklist through Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT).
  • Interface with the end user and seek means to improve system reliability and maintainability.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of briefings, reports, decision papers, and acquisition program documentation.
  • Monitors technology, analyzes proposals, and evaluates concepts to determine technical feasibility and military applicability of aircraft support equipment and aircraft maintenance support plans.
What You’ll Bring   
  • Education:
    • At least 5 years of experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
    • Should be familiar with DoD 5000 series acquisition regulations.
  • Experience:
    • Experience supporting DOD ACAT programs is desired. USAF aircraft maintenance and lifecycle logistics preferred.
    • Flight Line Production and/or Phase/Isochronal Inspection Dock Chief experience preferred
  • Clearence:
    • TOP SECRET Security Clearence required to start with the ability for TS/SCI within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Travel:
    • Ability to support 10% or more travel CONUS and OCONUS.
