Manufacturing Test Engineer


SRCTec, LLC is actively searching for dedicated entry-level engineers to lead the way in designing, developing, and rigorously testing innovative solutions that tackle complex, nationally significant challenges. What You’ll Do     

  • Pioneering the development of advanced manufacturing test solutions tailored for radar surveillance, electronic warfare, and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)     

  • Using systems engineering approaches to transition products to manufacturing     

  • Leveraging scripting languages like Python and TestStand to streamline and automate complex tasks, enhancing efficiency and accuracy     

  • Skillfully generating SQL queries to gather and dissect manufacturing data, facilitating insightful analysis     

  • Harnessing software (SW) tools such as MATLAB or Minitab to extract valuable insights from collected data     

  • Actively engaging within collaborative team environments to tackle complex challenges associated with large-scale systems     

  • Leading integration and testing efforts for groundbreaking new designs, ensuring seamless functionality     

  • Demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting both test hardware and software to maintain optimal system performance     

  • Providing unwavering engineering support for production programs, driving quality and innovation     

  • Collaborating with research and development (R&D) team, including: program management, firmware engineers, software engineers, systems engineers, and mechanical engineers     

What You’ll Bring     

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar discipline      

  • Desire to learn new software (SW) programming languages such as LabVIEW or TestStand     

  • Experience working with databases is a plus     

  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting is a plus     

  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures     

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills     

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills in daily activities     

  • Excellent time management skills     

  • Must be task-oriented with an attention for details and accuracy     

  • Previous internship experience preferred

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $70,000 to $82,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
