SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a Quality Services Specialist who is passionate about implementing and managing a hands-on training program for our dynamic electronics manufacturing workforce as well as providing front-line product verification and workmanship referee support to manufacturing floor operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document IPC training strategy through collaboration with operational leadership Plan and maintain the administration of all IPC training and certifications for the enterprise
- Manage the inventory, purchase and development of materials required to support the training program
- Deploy training to multiple production sites
- Monitor industry updates to relevant standards to minimize impact to the organization
- Develop performance / effectiveness measures for the training program
- Support manufacturing personnel to resolve factory-induced defects and workmanship-related issues
- Support the maintenance and optimization of company workmanship standards and audit program
- Perform product verification and inspection activities to support production throughput
- Provide workmanship referee support for non-conformances and process indicators to tie risks and opportunities back into the training program
What You Bring to the Team – Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years related experience or training from a technical trade school or military trade school with 5+ years related experience
- Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Familiarity with J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC 7711/21, IPC-A-600 and IPC-WHMA-620 (CIS / CIT certifications a plus)
- Prior hands-on experience hand soldering and/or reworking circuit card assemblies per IPC specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources while successfully meeting deadlines
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems requirements for training programs (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with electronic database workflow, querying, and reporting (e.g. ETQ, MES)
- Willingness to travel – 10% of the time to support training needs at remote sites
