Role Summary
 
Digital Solutions Bid Manager is responsible for overseeing the negotiation, implementation, and overall management of contracts between the RES Digital Solutions and its clients, suppliers, or partners. This role will report to the Director of Commercial Excellence and will be the lead for all Digital Solutions Products and Advanced Services.
 
Key Accountabilities
 
  • Represent RES in pricing discussions and pitches to clients
  • Create strategies and specific objectives for estimating and developing budgets/policies/procedures to support the business
  • Manage workloads and approve workflow requests as necessary
  • Work with sme’s and analysts to accurately price out and package services to potential clients
  • Manage and maintain daily tracking of work completed and decision making for actions required to meet the schedule
  • Work with the other functional groups (business operations, finance, product, etc.) to improve information feedback systems on client expectations, productivity rates and actual costs
  • Identify project risks and opportunities including potential cost and schedule impacts
  • Create and provide monthly status reports to senior leadership
  • Maintain client and stakeholder expectations through transparency
  • Coordinates with procurement on quote requests from suppliers and subcontractors, sharing feedback on pricing and performance, improving bench strength.
 
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
 
  • 3 years’ experience in contract negotiations in any function (sales, bid manager, project manager, contracts, etc.)
  • Knowledge and thorough understanding of contract structure to optimize process, minimize risk, and maximize value
  • Experience in negotiation of contractual terms and conditions 
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Digital, Cloud or AI contract structures
  • Ability to ensure compliance
  • Ability to resolve disputes in a timely and respectful manner
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Work closely with procurement on supplier reliability and qualifications
  • In-depth understanding of the renewable energy industry and market dynamics
  • Strategic thinking with ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales plan
  • Experience working in a multicultural global environment
  • Intellectual curiosity paired with a high growth-mindset
