Summary: This role leads this role leads the O&M & Asset Management Supply Chain teams regionally with accountability for the people, processes and supply chain relationships required to deliver services across wind, solar, BESS, H2, biomass and hydro to achieve the Regional Services business plan in alignment with the Global services business plan.
Also leading the Spare Parts & Reconditioning in North American Region with accountability in P&L, people and processes, being responsible for execution and value capture of the existing contracts and business development in terms of new services, new customers or expanding market share within current footprint, to achieve Regional SP&R business plan in alignment with the Regional Services Business Plan. Regional Manager, Spare Parts & Reconditioning must ensure top safety performance, cultural fit to RES values, leadership and talent development.
Requirements:
- Input into the O&M & Asset Management supply chain strategy (People, Process, Supply Chain) from the North America perspective to ensure success regionally alongside the responsible accountable business leads.
- support the implementation of the approved supply chain strategies and monitor and report progress against agreed KPIs for North America.
- lead and adapt the Supply Chain structure taking in consideration specific projects, organization model within North America or any cause that could affect the performance.
- Define the key account leads for strategic suppliers (inc acting as the lead for designated key suppliers) to deliver agreed objectives (cost, product visibility & quality) and acts as the ambassador of the business with the services supply chain within Norh America.
- Lead and implement the Spare Parts & Reconditioning Business strategy including people, process, pricing for North America Region for the different technologies to ensure success regionally in line with the Business Plan and in a completely alignment with Sales department and technology leaders.
- Lead and implement the North America Reconditioning Strategy ensuring a correct deliverable for external customers and internal reconditioning necessities in O&M projects.
- Lead and adapt the Spare Parts & Reconditioning structure taking in consideration specific projects, organization model within North America or any cause that could affect the performance.
- Support the Spare Parts & Reconditioning Director in the definition of business strategy.
- Be aligned with the global purchasing strategy in terms of customers, global agreements, commitments and supplier performance.
- Align with Sales Department the specific strategies per customer, technology, country.
- Build long lasting profitable relations with customers.
- Expand and develop business leading the sales and commercial management for the Spare Parts & Reconditioning business, controlling the SP&R P&L accounting in the different technologies.
- Monitor the market in terms of competitors and partnerships, new solutions, new strategies.
- Participate with Supply Chain in the definition of key strategic partnerships improving continuously services portfolio in terms of Spare Parts & Reconditioning.
- Define the necessities to Supply Chain for new technologies, characterization, specific services or any other requirements to ensure success regionally.
- Participate in the definition of the correct logistic strategy in terms of Incoterm, country logistics costs, warehouses deployment or any other aspect that could impact in the SP&R performance.
- Ensure highest standards on safety, quality, operational and financial performance. Supports the Spare Parts & Reconditioning Director in the definition of Reconditioning required strategy. Manage the resources (technical and people) of the internal Reconditioning Workshops deployed regionally.
- Ensure a sharing of knowledge between the global department and local reconditioning workshops.
- Define and follow up with engineering services the technical necessities for the correct development of internal reconditioning strategy.
- Evaluate technically and financially, with the support of engineering services and Supply Chain, the reconditioning partners/suppliers.
- Aligned with Supply chain, develop the external reconditioning suppliers’ network to provide a successful internal and external service.

- Manages one or more direct reports.
- Lead the Regional Supply Chain and Spare Parts team ensuring the team are delivering on agreed priorities of the business. Be a role model for integration.
- Ensure effective internal communication and coordinate across functions to drive alignment with supply chain strategy using best practice sharing with emphasis on efficiency improvements and cost reduction activities.
- Act as a substitute for Global Services Spare Parts & Reconditioning Director, upon request, in internal and external discussions.
- Work with Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, and employ outstanding talent. Participates in hiring and selection process to fill positions on the team.
- Communicates regularly with direct reports on goals, accomplishments, and information on policies.
- Demonstrates leadership and expertise in eyes of client group.

Qualifications:
- Postgraduate engineering of commercial degree or related professional qualification.
- Interpersonal/communication aptitude. Project management skills.
- Proven ability to work strategically. Experience leading international teams with different culture.
- High capacity for change and experience of leading and motivating other through change. Broad range of strategic, commercial and technical skills.
- Substantial experience in supply chain departments oriented to O&M activities in solar or wind but ideally both. P&L responsibility similar or bigger than the current business size.
- Experience in closing service deals, participating in tenders.
- Experience working in matrix organization would be a plus. Highly valuable experience in North America O&M market.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Anticipated Salary Range: $89,000-$105,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
