At Nutanix, the Technology Alliances team is a dynamic group spread across the globe, working in a collaborative and inclusive environment. This team is dedicated to driving strategic partnerships within the technology landscape, with a mission focused on developing and executing successful partner strategies that align with Nutanix's overall goals. You will report to the Director of Global Alliances, who will provide guidance and support as you navigate your role within the team. This position operates in a hybrid work model, requiring you to be in the San Jose headquarters office for two to three days a week, allowing for valuable face-to-face interactions with your teammates. Additionally, the role comes with travel requirements of approximately 25%, giving you the opportunity to engage with partners and stakeholders in different locations as you work towards common objectives.
Your Role
- Develop and execute strategic partner strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
- Manage relationships with key ISV partners, ensuring alignment with Nutanix's ecosystem goals.
- Grow the portfolio of ISV partners through strategic onboarding in the assigned technology areas; including AI, Cloud Native, Networking, Security, Data Protection, Observability, and/or Unified Storage.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Executives to ensure internal alignment.
- Lead complex projects involving diverse teams, ensuring timely delivery and milestones are met.
- Influence and advocate for initiatives at all organizational levels, from team members to executive leadership.
- Establish clear communication channels and maintain relationships within the partner ecosystem.
- Identify and capture new partnership opportunities aligned with Nutanix's business objectives either for new use-case definition, new technology and solution integrations, and/or Go-To-Market support to enhance associated partnership revenue and industry visibility.
- Deliver measurable results that positively impact Nutanix's revenue and visibility within the market.
What You Will Bring
- Proven ability to formulate and implement successful partner strategies in a technology setting.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise technology trends, including AI, Cloud, Containers, and Software-Defined Data Centers.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and diverse projects.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of effectively influencing all organizational levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships within the partner ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or technical degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%) as needed for business purposes.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 164,000 and USD $ 328,800 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
