About the Team
The individual in the Senior Systems Engineer role will be joining the Systems Engineering team. This team is known for its collaborative culture, which emphasizes openness, helpfulness, and teamwork among its members. The Systems Engineering team's mission at Nutanix is to provide technical expertise, ensuring customers can maximize the value of their solutions while driving growth for the company. The Senior Systems Engineer role requires some travel, primarily for daily work-related activities. Overall, the travel expectations for this position are considered manageable and not extensive.
 
Your Role
  • Support sales teams on opportunities and providing technical expertise related to systems engineering.
  • Conduct customer meetings to present solutions and understand customer challenges.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific technologies, collaborating with team members to provide cohesive support
  • Engage in continuous learning to keep updated on new technologies and solutions relevant to the role.
  • Contribute to team discussions and strategy sessions for effective project execution
  • Size and configure Nutanix solutions
  • Showcase by representing on stage at events, hosting engaging technical bootcamps, and inspiring audiences through impactful presentations
 
What You Will Bring
  • +5 years of experience in relevant systems engineering roles.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with modern applications and cloud-native technologies.
  • Ability to present solutions and effectively engage with customers.
  • Some knowledge or experience in presales is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong communication and team-oriented mindset.
How We Work
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
