Role:

Our Company is in search of an experienced Shop Floor Supervisor who will be responsible for providing direction and oversight for the safe and efficient operations at our Moberly, MO facility. Ensure daily production is started at the targeted start times each day, and there is a fluid handoff to between each shift. Implement Lean manufacturing practices and develop and measure KPI’s to drive continuous improvement across the operations teams on each shift.

Our ideal candidate will be a result driven production supervisor with great people and communication skills. This individual will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of a department within a food production plant.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop SOP for Shop Floor
  • Create Process orders for production
  • Oversee daily production paperwork and cross referencing with Shop Floor for accuracy
  • Train and Develop employees on the use of shop floor application on 1st and 2nd Shift
  • Communicate with Quality/Accounting/IT departments on shop floor issues
  • Setup and Delete users on Shop Floor
  • Reconcile Inventory in Shop Floor
  • Other Duties as assigned

 

 

Work Environment/Physical Demands

 

  • Competent on computer, office software, and associated equipment
  • SAP knowledge is preferred
  • Will work in cold, possibly wet environments

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of meat processing, meat processing equipment, automation, and packaging

Experience/Work History

 

  • Preferred food manufacturing experience
  • Preferred College or Technical degree with emphasis on critical thinking
