SALES REPRESENTATIVE PR

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manages retail sales of area or establishment. Responsible for the revenue generation for key accounts within a geographic area or market, all branding responsibilities including advertising, marketing programs, pricing strategies and distribution models. Also responsible for the inbound/outbound transportation of goods and materials.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities withing independent retail outlets, small distributors and foodservice restaurants focus on BBQ products.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, increasing volume, and product mix.
- Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed volume, revenue, and distribution targets.
- Increase product penetration and visibility across assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, chefs, buyers, retail operators.
- Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and new product integration discussions with clients.
- Negotiate contracts in alignment with company guidelines.
- Provide accurate and timely volume forecast for import products and plant products.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
Education and/or Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred)
Experience: 2-5 years of sales experience.
Language / Skills
Bilingual- Spanish and English written & spoken
- Proven track record in business development and account management
- Strong knowledge of the local landscape
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationships-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
