HR Compliance Manager

 


The HR Compliance Manager will work directly with the Head of HR Compliance for the development and implementation of industry-specific and comprehensive HR compliance policy and programs for the company. This position will assist in the evaluation of applicable laws and regulations while serving as a business partner to senior leadership to identify, propose, and implement necessary actions to mitigate risk and to prevent, detect, and correct noncompliance.

 

Location: This position will report onsite at our Corporate HQ in Greeley, CO.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides general management and ad hoc support of company HR policies and procedures, to include immigration, ADA, AAP, EEO, FMLA, and OFCCP compliance policies and programs.
  • Coordinates business and administrative units on priority compliance issues including: risk identification, assessment, and mitigation; policy development and implementation; and HR personnel training.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of company affirmative action programs; files EEO-1 and VETS-4212 reports annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to state and federal regulations.  
  • Facilitates and oversees the company’s annual HR Compliance audit and provides gap-analysis feedback and action planning. Conducts periodic audits of current systems, procedures, policies, and workflows to ensure efficiencies and legal compliance; develops processes that improve department and end user efficiency and enhance overall HR productivity.
  • Drives the identification, reporting and analysis of relevant measures of human resource performance and collaborates with HR management team for further analysis and action planning.
  • Participates in HR IT, HRIS and vendor status meetings for identification and resolution of issues and consideration of and evaluation of potential system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert of the USCIS Form I-9 and helps ensure compliance via regular audits and HR personnel training.
  • Assists the Head of HR Compliance in conducting and administering internal HR compliance activity and corporate reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of current federal, state and local statutes including but not limited to EEOC, affirmative action, FMLA, FLSA and immigration regulations and guidelines.
  • This role highly prefers a candidate with full bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English to effectively support HR compliance initiatives across the Company’s employee population. The candidate must be able to accurately interpret, translate, and communicate complex regulatory, policy, and employee-relations information in both languages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, influence others, mediate through conflict, and take decisive action.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel.
  • SAP experience preferred.

 

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

 

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $90,000 to $120,000; and
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
