This position is responsible for managing and executing brand plans on products sold in Foodservice Channels, including Retail Deli. Candidate must have brand and product management experience, and will be reporting to Director of Marketing, with a focus on a designated foodservice brands and categories, you will execute our marketing tactics to drive brand awareness and generate demand for Pilgrim’s®, Pierce® Chicken & Gold Kist® brands

Responsibilities:

  • BRAND & MARKETING MANAGEMENT -
    • Assist in creating sales material, sell sheets, item specification sheets, Point of Sale materials, promotions, coupons, events, conferences, and sponsorships
    • Develop strategy for pull-through with focus Retail Deli and Foodservice customers
    • Partner with sales teams for sell-in and promotional opportunities
    • Monitor Feedback on Social Media accounts, approve responses, reviews, and customer service requests
    • Own and update brand and product FAQs for website and sales collateral updates.
  • EXECUTE BRAND PLANS - Execute brand strategy and tactics to deliver objectives
    • Manage advertising and media agency deliverables, budgets, and invoices
    • Vendor relationships such as exhibit partners, POS printers and distributors, and broker networks
    • Oversee brands and brand communication at regional/customer events, sell sheets
    • Responsible for content development to inform websites, digital shelf, social networks, and sales collateral
  • STRONG NETWORK across Business Units, Innovation, Sales, and cross functional category teams
    • Work with BU on available mix to push and support
    • Work with Innovation Marketing to prepare product launches
    • Partner with Sales Strategy and broker network to manage programs and promotions
    • Measuring and reporting effectiveness of marketing investment via monthly and annual business reviews
    • Assess the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends, and implications to the business and making recommendations to Business Units, Insights, and Innovation Teams
    • Collaborate with agencies and internal Creative team to develop and utilize campaign materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant marketing experience, P&L experience a plus
  • CPG or Foodservice experience preferred, but not required.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Wordpress
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills a must
  • Proven cross-functional leading and strategic influencing
  • Ability to analyze syndicated data and provide insights
  • Demonstrated bias for action and ability to manage projects independently from start to finish
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): eligible after 90 days of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • Base salary range of $67,000 - $91,000; and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
