RECEIVING UTILITY
Description
Essential Job Duties:
- Print all PO’s due that day from the receiving schedule.
- Responsible for ensuring the Lumpers are following our GMP’s and Safety practices.
- Responsible for ensuring the trailer seals are intact.
- Reviewing BOL’s for counts and weights then matching it to our PO’s and the product on the truck.
- Assist drivers to up away received product.
- Review paperwork for COA’s if it is needed to receive that product.
- Communicating to Leads and Supervisors when product is ready for production.
- Reporting all loads on the receiving SSOP log.
- Enter all product into the inventory system.
- Lock out all trailers when they are unloaded.
- Communicate to Managers when there is a product concern that is out of spec.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a production environment
- The ability to attend work on time with few absences
- Ability to make quick and decisive decisions; good judgment and common sense required
- Attention to detail
- Good math skills
- Ability to follow instruction
- Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work in cooperation with others
- Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
- Must obtain a forklift and pallet jack certification
- Computer experience preferred
Training and licenses
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Must obtain a forklift and pallet jack licenses
- Must learn Kroger Mainframe
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
