JOB ASSIGNMENT:           Maintenance Jack/Forklift Mechanic        
SHIFT:                                   12pm – 12am
SUPERVISOR:                     William Ashenfelter 
 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
Must posses some basic mechanical knowledge and basic hand tool identification and usage.        Must have own tools.
DUTIES: 
Under direction of supervisor performs Routine maintenance and part replacement on Power Jack and Forklift in the facility. At times may be used in maintenance functions to production and non-production related equipment however first priority should be ensuring plant power jacks and forklifts are operating properly. Must have ability and show willingness to learn and understanding blueprint/maintenance manual reading and identification.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Must be knowledgeable of production equipment and it function within the production area.
  • Must work in other departments as necessary
  • Must be knowledgeable of Power Jack and Forklift equipment and how they operate
  • Must be aware of safety rules and demonstrate an ability to work in safe manner.
  • Willingness to accept training and ability to adopt new concepts.
  • Must posses basic math skills
  • Must demonstrate good work habits.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to go to other Departments as needed.
  • Must fill in on other shift as needed.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed including week-ends and holidays
  • Strong electronic/maintenance background preferred
