Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand trim specifications
- Style to customer specifications
- Maintain style pace to labor standards
- Identify all retail beef or pork product specifications
- Identify all retail beef or pork packaging specifications
- Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements
- Maintain product flow and procedures
- Understand muscle orientation and different primals
- Understand production schedule and rotation of items
- Understand table position rotation/assignment based on production schedule
- Training provided onsite
- Pack beef, pork, and chicken into boxes per specifications in a fast-paced environment
- Involves repetitive lifting through entire shift
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
- Requires ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lb
- General labor must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Additional qualifications as needed
Work Environment
The work environment includes extremely cold temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
