Temporary Summer Office Intern

Your role at GEI. 
 
GEI’s office in Woburn MA is looking for a person to help keep our office organized and to assist with streamlining our current filing system. The candidate will be expected to work 40 hours per week. The duration for this temporary position is about 12 weeks.
 
Essential Responsibilities & Duties 
  • Retrieve project file documents from storage (reports and oversized drawings).
  • Scan documents for retention purposes using document scanners. Ensure that all scanned documents are legible, complete and named correctly.
  • Assist in the preparation of an office relocation/move during the summer of 2025.
  • Work independently and with other team members. Must be flexible and able to multi-task effectively.
  • Assist other staff, as needed, with a variety of tasks. 
Minimum Qualifications 
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable trouble shooting printer/scanner issues.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • This is a temporary position, and the candidate is expected to work 40 hours per week.
  • The duration of this temporary position is approximately 12 weeks.
