SALARY RANGE: The anticipated salary range for this role is $32.00/HR to $38.00/HR. This range reflects a good faith estimate based on the targeted level for the role and typical compensation benchmarks across U.S. locations. Actual compensation may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographical location, and internal alignment.
SUMMARY
A System Check Out Lead is an integral part of our production team; they are responsible for performing final checks and verification of equipment per the document specification, ensuring that all work and components meet rigorous quality standards. Additionally, the System Check Out Lead is key in supporting technical issues that arise with the support of Engineering. Also, aides in training team members on performing system check out duties. A successful System Check Out Lead has a keen attention to detail and supports others in the shop and throughout the company, both technically and as teammates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
- End of line quality checks on equipment
- Perform functional and mechanical check outs as necessary
- Verification of production paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support Flight Test Operations as needed
- Initiate customer inspection and invoicing of completed equipment
- Communicate, discuss, and listen to challenges with management, teammates, etc.
- Support problem solving activities for technical issues
- Develop and train other team members
- Assumes all other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings, procedures, etc.
- Computer (Windows PC) competency in word processing and spreadsheets
- High attention to detail
- Technically minded to effectively solve problems with equipment
- Highly knowledgeable on performing mechanical and functional tests
- Strong communication skills to work with customer and internal team members
- Able to communicate with Management across the United States on processes
- Good organization and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative and think proactively

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment may involve a standard office setting while also incorporating elements of a production area. Employees will use standard office equipment, including computers, and must demonstrate stamina to sit or stand while maintaining attention to detail despite potential interruptions. The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending. Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone. Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile. Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment. Employees may be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
