FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SALARY RANGE: The anticipated salary range for this role is $120,000 to $155,000 annually in Huntsville and Ann Arbor, and $131,000 to $169,000 annually in San Luis Obispo. This range reflects a good faith estimate based on the targeted level for the role and typical compensation benchmarks across U.S. locations. Actual compensation may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographical location, and internal alignment.
**May be willing to consider remote for the right candidate, but proximity to one of the designated locations highly preferred**
SUMMARY
As the Senior Recruiter you will play a critical role in our talent acquisition process. This position requires a dynamic individual who is not only skilled in recruitment strategies but also deeply involved in every stage of the hiring process, particularly complex engineering, business development, and corporate positions. You must be hands-on and proactive while working closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure that we attract and secure top talent for our organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
- Actively engage in the entire recruitment cycle, from job analysis and posting to candidate sourcing, interviewing and onboarding.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills and cultural fit.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards and industry events to find and attract candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, industry professionals and educational institutions.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs, develop job descriptions and create tailored recruitment strategies.
- Provide training and support to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and candidate evaluation.

- Develop and implement recruitment strategies for complex engineering roles, including technical assessments and evaluations.
- Collaborate with corporate leaders to identify and recruit top talent for business development and strategic initiatives.
- Source and assess candidates for corporate positions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and culture.
- Provide training and support to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and candidate evaluation.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and create tailored recruitment strategies.
- Assumes all other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5+ years’ hands-on recruitment experience.
- Proven ability to fill a variety of positions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced performance driven environment where quality is critical
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a passion for finding the right talent.
- Able to work cooperatively in a team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment may involve a standard office setting while also incorporating elements of a production area. Employees will use standard office equipment, including computers, and must demonstrate stamina to sit or stand while maintaining attention to detail despite potential interruptions. The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending. Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone. Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile. Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment. Employees may be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
