We are seeking an experienced Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead – Air Vehicle to oversee the development, integration, and delivery of our uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS). 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure all air vehicle subsystems are integrated and delivered efficiently, meeting product and project requirements.
  • Oversee air vehicle development from concept through testing and deployment.
  • Provide technical leadership in key air vehicle domains, including airframe, propulsion, electrical systems, avionics hardware, and payload integration.
  • Manage aircraft system hardware configuration, weight and balance assessments, and aircraft performance optimization.
  • Ensure proper mounting solutions for hardware, including hard mounts, fuel cell mounts, and battery mounts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across air vehicle subsystems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on CAD designs, system modelling, and analysis.
  • Maintain interface control documents (ICDs) for payload integration and system interfaces.
 Qualifications:
  • 10+ years’ experience leading air vehicle development projects from concept through testing and deployment.
  • Strong technical expertise in airframe, propulsion, avionics hardware, electrical systems, and overall air vehicle systems.
  • Experience with aircraft weight and balance assessments, system hardware configuration, and aircraft performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of mounting solutions for hardware, including hard mounts, fuel cell mounts, and battery mounts.
  • Proficiency in engineering tools for CAD, system modelling, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with payload integration and interface control documents (ICDs).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex air vehicle projects.
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
