FINANCIAL ANALYST
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support business decision-making. Collaborating across departments to provide accurate and timely insights, ensuring that the financial data is reliable and actionable.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare regular weekly and monthly reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Track key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Perform financial analysis to support decision-making, including data-driven insights for special projects, business cases, and operational decisions.
- Define requirements for Power BI dashboards in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of reported data.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights for other teams and management.
- Assist in process improvement and automation initiatives within financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
- Professional certifications: CFA, ACCA are a plus.
- Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and business performance metrics.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
- Experience defining Power BI dashboard/report requirements, will be considered as advantage.
- Hands-on Power BI development experience is a plus.
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with both finance and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good Latvian and English language skills in written and spoken.
