Key Responsibility Area
As a Corporate Financial Analyst, your role is to analyze business processes, operations, and financial data to identify areas of improvement and provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making. You collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop financial models and forecasts, and prepare reports and presentations. You also play a key role in investor relations efforts, assisting in communications, reporting, and coordination. Working closely with the CFO and COO, you provide financial analysis and support for critical strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulations and staying updated on industry trends. Your expertise is instrumental in driving efficiency, maximizing profitability, and enabling well-informed business decisions within the corporate environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, operations, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, requirements, and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and projections to support strategic planning and budgeting.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and assess risks, opportunities, and potential impacts on business operations and profitability.
  • Support the development and implementation of business strategies, initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.
  • Work closely with the CFO and COO to provide financial insights, analysis, and support for key strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to assist in the preparation of investor communications, presentations, and reports.
  • Assist in the coordination of investor meetings, earnings calls, and other investor-related events.
  • Monitor and analyze financial markets, investor sentiment, and industry developments to provide insights on investment strategies and shareholder value.
  • Support strategic financial initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, and financing activities.
  • Prepare financial analysis and business cases for new investment opportunities and potential business partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to provide recommendations for business growth and compliance.
 
Requirements and skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in project management and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of business processes, operations, and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of investor relations practices and experience in communicating with investors.
  • Familiarity with strategic finance concepts and the ability to support CFO-level decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively with the CFO, COO, and other senior executives.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelors Degree (B.com, BBA, BBM, BCA) / Masters Degree (M.com, MBA, PGDM)
  • 5 years+ of experience as a financial analyst involving projects people, process and client management.
  • Should have basic knowledge of finance, trade life cycle, investment banking, and derivatives.
