Position Summary:

This position supports the BaBylissPRO Marketing team. You’ll provide support to the marketing department. You’ll wear a lot of hats and have the opportunity and responsibility to get involved in all aspects of marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Research competitive landscape and be able to articulate gaps and opportunities.
  • Work with team and creative agency to assist in develop packaging concepts for new products.
  • Assist in creating compelling stories around product to define marketing direction.
  • Help in development of copy for packaging, brochures, cat sheets, price list, information booklet, etc.
  • Work with internal systems to begin jobs with creative giving formalized briefs, direction, deadlines, and product information to develop all marketing materials.
  • Meet with the Creative to review and issue edits to marketing collateral.
  • Formally present final versions of marketing materials to upper management for approval.
  • Work with team to perform forecast analysis using planning reports and adjust forecast accordingly based on activity, sales, promotions, etc.
  • Supply product samples for Sales Meetings, educators, or social media needs.
  • Develop solidified relationships with internal teams (sales, production, social media, operations), and keep the lines of communication working both ways.
  • Ability to travel, and work at shows, and articulate the nuances of all the product to customers

Essential Qualifications:

  • Direct, articulate, and succinct communication style, both verbal and written.
  • Mastery of organizational skills, including management of multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Self-motivation to be proactive in identifying problems and developing recommended solutions.
  • Self-discipline to always conduct oneself with the utmost professionalism, integrity, reliability, and accountability.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing
  • Attention to detail
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant marketing tools (MS Software)

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time.
