Position Summary:
The Digital Specialist plans, manages, and oversees all aspects of Walmart and Sam’s ecommerce businesses.  Their duties include setting up new items, managing content and collateral health, planning a digital campaign, partnering with marketing teams to gather pertinent new/current dotcom item information, and measuring the day-to-day KPI’s and post campaign analytics.  The Digital Specialist also implements search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, email marketing, and pay-per-click advertising. They track, measure, improve and report the performance of digital marketing campaigns. 
Responsibilities:
  • Handling strategic online initiatives
  • Seeks out new business opportunities for Sales to create an ecommerce path to growth
  • Leading marketing campaigns from the idea stage through to their execution and implementation
  • Monitoring and evaluating online media campaigns to keep them fresh and effective
  • Partners directly with Marketing on content/collateral health
  • Measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment
  • Coordinating with the digital marketing team to identify innovative growth strategies
  • Preparing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Using advanced analytics software to identify customer touchpoints and assess end-to-end customer experience
  • Works directly with Sales, Walmart Connect, MAP, Supplier Center, Teikametrics, Syndigo, Salsify, Marketplace/WFS, and Marketing
Essential Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other relevant fields
  • Experience in a digital marketing or advertising role
  • In-depth knowledge of customer software/programs such as Walmart Connect, Retail Link, Item 360, Luminate, TR3, Salsify, Madrid, IDM, and Scene7
  • Working experience with website analytics and digital advertising best practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Beneficial Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP / IBP
  • Experience working with different departments to develop marketing campaigns.
Environmental Factors:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
