Position Summary:
The National Account Manager - Cuisinart is the primary contact for all sales-related issues and is responsible for the management of revenue and implementation of brand strategies and objectives across multiple channels, with a focus on executing growth strategies for assigned territories and accounts, including Costco.com and gourmet accounts.
This is a remote position but prefer the candidate live in the Chicago area if possible but also open to Texas or other CST locations.
Focus:
  • Execute Omni-Channel growth strategies for assigned territories/accounts.
  • Manage outside sales rep agencies.
  • Lead point of contact for gourmet account base directly purchasing through Cuisinart.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present product proposals to maximize placement of Cuisinart products, partnering with retailers to understand promotional strategies.
  • Monitor and manage financial tracking and POS reporting for Costco and other key accounts.
  • Conduct frequent meetings with internal teams to develop items and pricing for various channels.
  • Own P&L responsibilities for assigned programs.
  • Maintain promotional calendars and co-op spending records.
  • Utilize POS data and analytical tools to maximize product placement, sales, and profits.
  • Monitor competitors' brands and products to understand market trends and opportunities.
  • Coordinate communication with Costco International regions and Conair's International offices.
  • Forecast monthly and annual shipments accurately to maintain customer and company inventories.
  • Conduct regular buyer meetings and business reviews to refine inventory forecasts and promotional planning.
  • Prepare merchandising, advertising, and assortment proposals to maximize market share.
  • Develop and execute joint business planning with customers.
  • Lead sales presentations, business reviews, and category updates.
  • Manage UPP/MAPP policies at all assigned customers.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports analyzing marketplace trends and competitive activity.
  • Follow internal controls and company policies.
  • Contribute to the success of the company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of retail experience as a national account manager in the consumer products industry.
  • Prior Costco experience highly preferred.
  • Expert negotiation skills and proven success in meeting sales goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and using IRI/Nielsen data.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently from a home-office environment.
Environmental Factors:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (20% if needed)
