Position Summary:  

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a strategic business partner to the corporate finance leads that adds value by developing actionable data analytics and reporting for the Conair business units globally. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role is responsible to report accurate, timely, and relevant KPIs, measurements, forecasts, plans, and analysis to enable the business units to make informed decisions.  This role will work cross-functionally with accounting, IT, and BU finance teams  

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the consolidation & reporting monthly process, including consolidating all divisions actuals and Forecast reporting, utilizing Adaptive Planning and consolidating risks and opportunities
  • Partner with Global Divisional Finance teams to understand monthly performance drivers
  • Assist in preparing materials for monthly operating reviews and quarterly board meetings
  • Prepare top customer reporting and identify major drivers in performance
  • Prepare divisional sales and margin performance reporting, identifying outliers
  • Prepare charts and waterfalls in PowerPoint summarizing monthly corporate performance
  • Manage the tracking of big bets and key investments globally  
  • Support the annual budgeting process
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
  • Contribute to the success of the company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned

Essential Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 6+ years of corporate finance analytical experience, working in an FP&A function a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and a multi-tasker with the ability to deliver on a timely manner
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Superb analytical/quantitative and communication skills and strong executive presence
  • Strong Excel skills and technical skills are required
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates thought leadership and manages relationships with business partners
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights, including knowledge of model building and the Excel add-in OfficeConnect highly preferred

Beneficial Qualifications:  

  • Experience working with Adaptive Insights or a similar Financial Reporting Tool (i.e. Hyperion, Prophix)
