Join us as an Assistant Product Manager for the Cuisinart brand, where you'll navigate the exciting world of powered kitchen appliances. In our motorized category you will oversee product management for food processors, stand mixers, ice cream makers, hand mixers and more and lead the charge toward excellence in this category.
In this new role, you'll spearhead growth initiatives and drive revenue generation, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to conceptualize and deliver groundbreaking products. Be prepared to embark on a journey that's shaping the future of kitchen technology, one meal at a time!
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to building new product concepts and plans through design, validation, planning, development and launch strategies
- Assist in bringing products to market utilizing market research, product research, product testing, pricing analysis, competitive analysis and timeline management
- Regularly liaise with Engineering, Test Kitchen, Planning, Manufacturing, Operations, Creative and Sales
- Handle time-sensitive responsibilities and communications in a timely and professional manner
- Set up new product information in SAP, Salsify, and other systems
- Initiate, manage, and track the creative process to develop packaging and instructional materials
- Responsible for existing product line maintenance
- Partner with Consumer Insights team to compile and document research & competitive analysis for existing products and categories
- Monitor existing product sales, inventory and forecasting
- Collaborate with Asia remotely focusing on product maintenance and new product development
- Help with general department assignments and trade-show preparation
- Act as marketing liaison for sales on customer accounts as needed
- Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or Product Development with 1 year of relevant experience
- Product Management and New Product Development experience preferred
- The ability to bring new and fresh thinking to help Cuisinart drive new product growth
- Must possess strong analytical skills, be highly detailed-oriented and provide unprompted follow-through
- Must be accountable and organized with the ability to handle and prioritize a multitude of projects
- Strong oral and written communication and excellent computer skills
- Must be flexible, determined, a team player and possess a positive attitude
- Expert ability level in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SAP a plus.
The salary range for this position is 65k - 70k/year.
Environmental Factors:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (10% if needed)
- We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; 3 days work in the office, 2 days work from home.
