Position Summary:       
       
This role is the primary resource for operational functions associated with driving revenue and margin for the Cuisinart business for our e-commerce/retail.com customers.  Key functions will include demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, POS & trend analysis, creative asset liaison/PDP support, item maintenance and setup, daily monitoring of overall business trends and operational performance.  The role will work with other Cuisinart teams cross functionally to ensure business issues are communicated and acted upon in a timely manner as well as with direct account contacts. 20% of the role will be allocated to inside gourmet sales support – assisting gourmet accounts with information, order placement, etc.       
Key Responsibilities:       
  • Become a leading resource on customer specific needs and requirements while providing timely communication to both the account and company ensuring you meet the needs and requirements of both
  • Work closely with the demand and sales planning teams, and sales managers on forecasting, inventory planning, and order planning
  • Input the forecast in “IBP” System and update the planning team on new additions or adjustments
  • Item setup, maintenance and management across a variety of customer accounts
  • Ensure assigned customer accounts are up to date with any pricing changes
  • Work with our Operations and Customer Service teams to assist with order management and ensure customer compliance standards are being met
  • Collaborate with team to conduct periodic meetings with customers’ replenishment teams to review recent results and confirm changes affected positively and negatively to the sales
  • Assist Sales team partners to contribute to the annual budget planning process and monthly checkbook reconciliations.
  • Coordinate customers’ domestic/import orders with supply chain both in planning and availability dates
  • Work with Sales and Accounting reconciling customers monthly/quarterly vendor income true-up.
  • Coordinate monthly vendor income collection with retail partner
  • Partner with the Sales Director and Account Managers to coordinate monthly business reviews, weekly flash reports and monthly results deck
  • Track sales performance to promotional expectations with the sales team and help formulate a future shipment plan based on the results
  • Provide monthly financial update and conduct a deep dive analysis into key operational/sales performance metrics
  • Create ad hoc reports based on current and future business needs
  • Quickly develop a working knowledge of the assigned business from both a product and consumer basis for our product and our competitions
Qualifications:       
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Forecasting/Budgeting & Demand Planning along with business analytics/financial role within the consumer products industry
  • Experience in Ecommerce, SAP, site merchandising, and working with a variety of vendor portals is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to draw insights across multiple complex data sets and incorporate into decision making
  • Ability to travel to Stamford office 3 days a week     
Environmental Factors:       
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (if needed). 
  • In our Stamford office, we currently operate on a hybrid work schedule; 3 days work in the office, 2 days work from home.
