Position Summary:

The National Account Manager is responsible for growing sales and managing the business for the following categories at Target:  Men’s Grooming, Ladies Grooming, Dental, Wellness, Humidifiers, Air Purification, Foot Baths, Travel Accessories, Garment Care and Weight Watcher Scales.  You will be responsible for all sales-related issues, revenue management and implementing brand strategies.  You are great at effectively managing your business and even better at building and growing a business.  There is opportunity for this territory to grow with the right person in place.

Our ideal candidate is based out of the Minneapolis area.  


*Prepare product proposals to present to Target buyers to maximize placement of Conair Products at Target and on  Partner with retailer and Conair Marketing team members to drive as much basic and promotional business as possible.

*Work with Target and The Stable (Rep group BA and MS) on forecasting monthly and annual shipments on a monthly basis.

*Conduct monthly buyer meetings and annual line review meetings to drive sales at Target.

*Work with Marketing Teams and VP to come up with exclusive product and exclusive launches for Target businesses.

*Lead sales presentation during line review meetings and buyer meetings.  Partner with internal team members to produce the best outcome to grow sales at Target in these businesses.

*Build strategy and lead process for managing Omni-Channel.

*Utilize customer POS data, NPD data and other analytical tools to maximize product placement, sales and profit.

*Monitor the competitive brands and products as well as our market share, and competitive market share to understand trends and opportunities for our Brand at Target.

*Prepare weekly cost shipment report with co-worker for the division.

*Prepare and maintain Monthly co-op budget for all businesses.

*Manage and align Target’s retails to our UPP/MAPP policies.

Essential Qualifications:

*Must live in Minneapolis, MN or Stamford, CT area.

*Must have at least five-to-seven-year sales experience. (Target Sales Experience is a major

*Must be driven by sales and enjoy it!

*Must have strong ability to work with all people and personality types.

*Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

*Must have strong communication skills both oral and written.

*Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload

*Some management experience as you will be managing the Rep Group’s BA and MS for your businesses.

*Must be able to work effectively from a home environment.

  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
