The Social Media Content Coordinator will primarily be responsible for day-to-day coordination of specific Social Media Marketing campaigns and projects for the Professional Barber category . As a member of our marketing team, the coordinator will work directly with the Senior Marketing Manager. Coordinator needs to be creative, well organized and have a keen eye for social media as a marketing service. The ideal candidate will be able to present a portfolio demonstrating their creative use of social media campaigns. The Social Media Content Coordinator will have a passion for supporting and improving online presence and digital marketing strategies while increasing organic interactions.

  • Develop and update a social media content calendar
  • Create content and schedule social media posts
  • Execute a robust content strategy
  • Manage content distribution across various platforms: Instagram & Facebook
  • Source create and publish timely and relevant content
  • Proactively engage with our social community and answer DM’s in a timely matter
  • Use social media to drive traffic and awareness
  • Collaborate on strategy for paid social media campaigns
  • Create innovative new content
  • Collaborating cohesively with our education team

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in social media posting and content strategy
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or a relevant field
  • Working knowledge of popular social media platforms
  • Experience with content management platforms like Google Ads Sprout Social or Google Analytics experience is a plus
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Up to date knowledge on current events and popular influencers
  • Canvas or AI or AfterEffects or experience creating graphics
  • Content create experience for the following platforms: Instagram, Facebook and TikTok

 

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Help manage content and answer DM’s in a timely manner
  • Experience with content management platforms and experience with Canvas or other graphic apps

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (5-10% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule: must be able to commute to the Stamford office 50% of the time.
